does anyone else get really sick like every 2-3 weeks. i dont know if its my anxiety but i always get really bad nausea flu type symptoms every few weeks and like headaches with sinus and ear issues but the doctor said everythings fine and ive been to ER like 3 times and they said everything’s perfect :(
Hey Sunset, I've dealt with health related OCD my whole life, from one extent to another. Right now, it's nowhere close to being my main theme, but looking back at it now I can see that I "thought" myself into having so many different symptoms/feelings/sensations as a result of my health obsessions. I would acquire every symptom there was that I read about and I too would go to the doctors to seek reassurance. What helped me was stopping researching what was wrong with me and trusting in the doctors when they said everything was fine. I stopped making appointments for every little worry I had, told myself it was just anxiety (which I thought it was anxiety at the time, and not OCD) and moved on with my day. If you haven't seen an OCD specialist, please do so, they will help wonders. You got this, best of luck. Take care.
I have panic disorder, and OCD and anxiety. Does anyone else ever feel just off the edge all the time? Like I always feel like something’s off or something’s gonna happen. I don’t know how to explain the feeling. But I always feel off and when I feel off I panic
i’ve had pretty bad anxiety since about 10 tonight (it’s 2 am rn). i started really worrying because my head wouldn’t stop hurting even after i took a nap and two advil. then my stomach was hurting. then i took two more advil because my head kept going. then because i was worrying so bad i went into my mom’s room and she gave me a zofran. then i lied in there, watching the notebook to try and distract myself. and that started working and i started feeling better. but then i got hit with a second wave of anxiety, making me think i was gonna get sick even though i took a zofran. and i’m still dealing with it rn and can’t stop panicking. i have an ice pack on my neck to help alleviate the anxiety along with my heating pad and a movie playing on my computer. right now i’m freaking myself into having food poisoning. it just sucks when my nights are spent like this and i can’t get out of it.
Lately I just feel like I’m on the verge of losing it and I don’t know why. I feel so uncomfortable in my own body. Physically and mentally. Not due to insecurity but just that something isn’t right… I never feel good, I’m always fatigued, my head hurts all the time, but my blood work comes back fine so doctor’s will do nothing. I have anxiety and panic attacks and recently I guess depression since I’m always down. I have relationship OCD so my partner deals with me not being sure of him constantly and it breaks my heart. I don’t want to leave him because he’s great but half the time my brain is telling me he isn’t the one. I keep counting as well, constantly counting every letter in every word and every word in every sentence… it just feels like I’m gonna go insane one of these days and I’m scared. When I talk to someone about this, they have no clue what to tell me or how to help. Am I alone in feeling this way??
