Losing control
Does anyone deal with the feeling like they're about to lose control or go crazy. It's really upsetting and hard to deal with, especially since it ties into multiple themes for me.

I get this often. My mind will even put distressing disturbing images in my head and tell me that I’m going insane. Or like “psychosis” and it makes me feel so upset and anxious. You aren’t alone, just let it pass by and think about a comfort movie to watch
Definitely. I had a really bad panic attack in 98. Felt like I was going to lose my mind. Now when anxiety OCD breaks through that is my theme and u an with you it is so scarey. All I can say is I can go year or so without it and it rears it's head if I am super stressed or have had the flu. Easier said than done but if you can try to stay engaged meaning phone a friend or family member, go for a walk, go exercise, go the mall something to try to take your mind off your thoughts. A mantra that helps me that I learned from someone else is thoughts only thoughts.
Yes I have a fear of schizo and my theme is that. When I get anxious or have a panic attack I think I’m losing control and it causes so much anxiety. I feel like I will lose control any minute and it just causes so much fear and hyper vigilance from me:(
Does anyone ever experience this weird thing where ocd makes you feel like “you would have had no control and done this”. Like everything you feel and believe would have gone flying out the window and you would have done something you know you don’t want. Especially when a POTENTIALLY real situation could be happening and it’s not just the thoughts alone. Your brain is like oh this is real life you really would have done this or that. Driving me crazy.
Does anyone that is diagnosed have experience having different themes come up in a day? It’s like I ignored one thought and then my mind comes up with another one until it figures out one that is scary enough for me to ruminate. Does it ever make sense? Like today my intrusive thought was an image of me in the space or falling into space which made me also think - this is non sense! Am I going crazy for having such an unrealistic intrusive thought? And then my psychosis OCD comes to play 🫠 it’s EXHAUSTING but I’ve been answering with “maybe or maybe not” and “I don’t care” which is something I saw someone saying that helps and I’ve been using it. I haven’t started ERP yet but hopefully soon. Just this year this came up and I still catch myself feeling so sad and remembering how I was before this. 😭
Does anyone else feel like they think these horrible things on there own or on purpose. I feel like I'm intentionally trying to hurt god and the holy Spirit now and idk what to do. I feel like I'm becoming my worst fear. Idk what to do I feel like I'm losing touch with myself and idk what to do. And I'm really worried God is going to turn his face from me or I'm going to do something I am going to regret. I'm not really sure whats happening to me, but I'm scared I'm going crazy.
