Help i want to talk

I posted recently on this app about my false attraction Someone told me to stop obsessing and you'll know whether they're really false..! it triggered me But when i tried to calm down and asked myself am I really attracted to girls i heard a voice YES..😓 Like i havent been professionally diagnosed with hocd And also im too young they say im just exploring.. but how??I've always been interested boysand i ve always had supportive background but i dont want to am into coming out process? Im going crazy now, cant feel anyting almost out of breaths...

You need to see a ocd therapist and get officially diagnosed with ocd then you can look at treatment ERP

Regardless of a diagnosis your feelings are completely valid, it doesn't imply you're in denial or actually attracted to girls. The beauty in it is that things are going to be okay either way. Speaking to an HOCD therapist is a really good idea if you want to break down the idea of attraction and compare it to the symptoms you're experiencing. I've been where you are before, you got this.

I’m sorry you had that experience, I’ve had thoughts about this as well. I’ve found some women physically attractive but I was spiraling because I kept thinking that I wasn’t attracted to women exactly the same as men, even though you can’t be attracted to them the same because they aren’t men. I’m not really sure of how to get past these thoughts but you don’t have to do a huge coming out or feel obligated to know and tell people immediately. It’s valid to like or not like, or not know; thank you for sharing!

@ONE INDIAN GIRL I couldn’t give you a for sure answer, but we seem to be in a similar situation. I would say that I am straight and I feel as though the anxiety of the possibility of liking women made me feel like I had to figure it out immediately. I don’t think I like women. I think what’s helped me lessen my anxiety is thinking maybe there’s one random women in the world that could be my soulmate and maybe I won’t awake till I meet her, which kinda sounds silly lol but it helps me feel more content with where I’m at right now, if I find her then I’ll know for SURE, cause it’s love at first sight😱I feel like there’s some sort of social pressure to fit into a label of gay or straight but honestly if it stresses you just tell people “it’s a secret”🙄 not everyone needs to know my business!!!

@Dfreij Yess so much I've always been afraid that I will meet someone who make me realise that I am lesbian ,and will make me head over heels for them like i used to be with boys..gives me chills💀 aren't you triggered or dont get more stressed with that thought..? Thinking about same is making go crazy overwhelmed i just dont want to... i shouldn't be asking this but have been clinically diagnosed?and if you're comfortable whats you're age cause im just 16...😔🙏

@ONE INDIAN GIRL I think coming from a religious background the idea of it in general that I could like them scares me, but it hasn’t happened yet. Also liking one women doesn’t mean you are a lesbian, you can most defiently still like boys. I think if it scares you then you probably don’t like women. I’ve met several women that I thought were physically attractive but I realized that you can think someone is physically attractive but not be romantically attracted to them. You will figure this out!

@Dfreij Yep..and i am not very religious kind of girl but it gives so much major stress thinking of what if i get attracted...when i dont ever want to. And the worst is i cant really tell if its false attraction..cause it feels so real...

@ONE INDIAN GIRL I think if that’s your worry then you will get through it, I think if you were really attracted to women you would WANT to be attracted to them which it really seems like you don’t. I really hate the stress of not knowing what YOU really feel

@ONE INDIAN GIRL This definitely confirmed for me that I don’t like women, there’s so many physically attractive women but I don’t think i could ever be aroused or attracted to them. You could apply the same logic to men, even with men, you can find some of them physically attractive but not be romantically interested in them. I just have never been romantically into women I think we are both in the same situation😭

@Dfreij Godd no not again...same logic with men is a point but its just different with men like when i find men physically attractive i want it but with women i dont think that i really like them in a romantic way rather than a inspiration or something..so in the conclusion this is a false attraction isnt it? Lesbian with Sexual Orientation OCD

I need too know that I'm not insane, really. I am 16 and for the past two weeks, this has been completely ruining my health and happiness. I only recently came out as a lesbian like 3 months ago after a lot of confusion about my attraction since I used to think I liked men. At first, I felt so sure that I liked women, but lately, I've been having these unwanted thoughts about the possibility of liking men. I never used to feel this way, but now, every time I look at a man, my brain obsessively fixates on it. It forces me to imagine kissing him, loving him, things I don’t want, and then tries to convince me that I do. It’s painful. The thought of this fills me with fear and anxiety, leading to panic attacks and breakdowns. I don’t want these thoughts. I hate them with every fiber of my being, but I’m terrified that one day I’ll act on them and somehow like it. I used to think I liked men, but back then, I was in a very unhealthy space in a time of escapism and something deeply parasocial. I’ve only ever liked the attention and validation a man could give me, but these experiences are somehow treated as further proof that I’m "bisexual." I’ve never been in a real relationship with anyone, which makes my brain constantly challenge me—telling me, “You don’t even know what love feels like.” It won’t shut up. It keeps obsessively trying to make me prove that I’m a lesbian, testing my reactions and questioning my certainty. Is this normal?

I feel like I'm lying to myself, like I just don't accept that I'm gay, I don't want to be gay, I don't want to feel any kind of attraction anymore, I want to go to a psychologist to find out if I really have hocd or if it's just an excuse, because it feels like I really am gay, but nothing was authentic, it all started with thoughts that made me panic extremely hard and I felt like crying and I had delusions, I don't understand why this is happening to me, I didn't like any boys before the thoughts appeared, but exactly one day after they appeared, all the boys were attractive, of all ages, I want to recover :( I'm only 17 years old, for about 2 months I've been having thoughts, I don't know what to do, I can't go to a psychologist, I need help :(

Can hocd create mental feelings or things that resemble inclinations Without a physical response?, but such as arousal and mental attraction, for example, I have so ocd and I'm afraid that I might like women.So, in the last period, when I look at photos of girls, especially beautiful ones, I feel something strange or attracted,sometimes their bodies.And I'm confused as to what that might mean, it's like sexual orientation, is this from me or OCD produced by it?'The feeling is like the feeling of discovering new inclinations and this breaks me, I just want to reconcile with myself in any sexual orientation or identity, but I just can't feel comfortable and reconcile with the fact that I may like women or it may happen in the future.And I have these feelings that telling me messing around the girls would be fun, and I feel something like desire, but I never come to terms with this.. I'm going to be 15 years old, I know, I'm not supposed to think like that, I don't have the right to determine who I am now because im young, and I shouldn't continue to dream of marrying a man..My mind keeps reminding me of the fact that I'm a teenager and the likelihood that everything will change is high, but right now, I'm not asking for anything but rest.I want to love myself and reconcile with her.
