Anxiety Tips
I have been doing ERP through the NOCD app and with a great therapist for months now, and my symptoms don’t really feel like they have improved significantly. I find myself ruminating a significant part of the day. If I’m honest with myself, I think I have a lot of opportunities to not ruminate that I probably don’t take, because I get so anxious that I cave and give in. Or I am ruminating and don’t even realize until the train has already left the station, when it’s harder to stop. Any tips for hitting OCD head on and not giving in to the anxiety? I know this is the basis of treatment for everyone with OCD, and I’m curious what you do. Thanks!
