im so afraid. someone said that blasphemy of the holy spirit is when you say something thats untrue. and my ocd is having a field day with it. i believe God is amazing, great and forgiving. however why are my thoughts this way, it gives me anxiety down to my toes and makes me want to vomit. im sorry if this triggers someone or anything. Don’t ever worry about that friend, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when somebody rejects Jesus Christ as their Savior until the day they die, never getting saved. You can never do that since you have already accepted Jesus :) and the Bible says that once we believe, we are Sealed with the Holy Spirit! (Ephesians 1:13) and nothing can undo that seal :) he will never leave us or forsake no matter what! So don’t ever believe anyone who tries to share a works based Gospel. We are saved by Grace alone and Jesus already paid for all our sins, past, present, and future! You are eternally secure, so hold onto that and be at peace 🙏🏻 also Jesus understands your OCD and doesn’t want you to punish yourself for that, it’s not your fault, and he loves you and is with you through all the mental battles, you are his child forever.

i know i’m not supposed to give reassurance for ocd butttt blasphemy against the holy spirit only happens when you’ve completely rejected God to the point where you don’t want anything to do with him and there is no softening of you heart towards him. telling a random lie may be a sin but Jesus forgives and you should never feel awful or anxious about it. and if you are anxious or bothered about committing blasphemy then you definitely haven’t. God bless❤️ He will never leave you.
@mbfaraoni25 You’re right about how he will never leave us or forsake us 🙏🏻 and I will add that even if a saved person, rejects God at some point, they are still saved and sealed 🙏🏻 because nothing can undo that seal. It says in 2 Timothy 2:13 “if we believe not, yet he abideth faithful, for he cannot deny himself”, this means that even if a person were to stop believing at any point for whatever reason, God is still faithful to them because he sealed them :) so anybody who has accepted Jesus as their Savior— the one who died on the cross for our sins, completely paying our sin debt in Full, has eternal life and can never blaspheme the Holy Spirit because they have already been saved 🩷✝️🙏🏻

Is anyone else here a Christian dealing with ocd? I could use some support because I've been having a hard time growing close to God ever since my ocd started getting bad. I deal with a lot of religious intrusive thoughts such as being unforgivable, or being cursed or possessed. What's some advice?
I had a blasphemous thought against the holy spirit s few days ago a bc it’s been on my mind. So today i asked my mom: “ does God take someone’s life away if they committed the sin of blasphemy” and she responded with “Maybe yes or maybe no, he can maybe give that person days to live until the destined day that person has to die, dies.” And after she said that i’ve been kind of anxious and asking for forgiveness. Keep in mind that i wasn’t feel bad about this thought before. Idk why. Now i’m anxious.
If you suffer from Christian OCD and feel Jesus hates you and you’re going to hell every few seconds but I keep fighting it because when I pray it says Lucifer and I refuse to pray to him. If I do Jesus will send me to hell. I’m terrified. When does it end. Some Christian’s are so peaceful, I want that.. why.. I feel cursed forever. I have faith in others journey… not mine. I’m stuck like this forever. My mind will never be the same.
