my dad is scaring me saying I’m gonna go to jail if I’m 18 and still dating my gf, my gf is two years younger than me, I mean he didn’t necessarily say that but I feel like he did, because I don’t understand, I’m so scared I’m gonna go to jail or I’m doing something wrong… please let me know, I do not know law stuff.
nothing will happen. My sister was 17 and her boyfriend was 18-19ish when they had kids or were at least pregnant. You’ll be okay. We didn’t see him as a pdf and the difference wasn’t bad. You won’t go to jail
nah you’re good lol. I met my ex when she was 17 & I was 18. then got intimate when she was still 17 & I was 19. two year difference. me being me, I checked the age of consent for both of our states. mine 17, hers 16. although, I believe I was suffering with POCD so much, I asked her for reassurance all the time. no one else cared about our age difference, even her bc it was just 2 years (rlly we were a year and months apart) but I was so obsessed over it and looked online. no matter how many people said “yes, that’s fine,” if I found ONE person that said “that’s predatory” or something of it being creepy, I would spiral like crazy. you are okay! take a breath. 🫂
I don’t think anything would happen I mean it’s a 2 year difference so she’s 16 while you’re 18 that’s not bad or a Big difference. Just be careful of certain things you guys do like if you want to do intimate things wait until your both legal age. But your fine because your both teens ( 16 18 still teenagers 😁 )
i have a friend whos 17 and i'm 20 and im so afraid im going to develop a crush on them and it will be immoral because they're still legally a minor and i'm afraid that when i talk to them im slowly grooming them just because im being nice to them and i'm their friend. im scared i have a crush on them this whole time i cant tell, deep down i know i dont but the fear is so strong. im afraid they can tell im being weird or that i feel afraid of this and they're put off by me. i think i just need reassurance im not weird or grooming them. we just talk about the beatles and that's it, thats our main thing in common, obviously nothing sexual or romantic or weird. but still, i could be. i hate this
I'm so afraid that I've harmed my best friend because I'm 2 years older and I turned 18 before him. We met online when we were in middle school and we're strictly platonic, no romantic feelings there, we've helped each other get through so much together and I'm just so afraid that while I was 18/19 I managed to fuck everything up because I was legally an adult before him even though I was still just a stupid teenager. I've asked him several times if I've ever hurt him and he's said no but the thought persists.
How do you handle it if there’s actually a chance you did something wrong? I have bad real event/false memory, though I don’t know how many are actually false memories. Anyway, when I was 19, I had a flirty relationship with someone who was 17. We kinda did this on and off for a while and we used to text a lot. I know at a few different points, we had a sexual relationship and it often came out through text, but I can’t remember when we did certain things. I don’t know if I broke the law or something and because this is such a serious matter, I feel like I’m dying inside. I don’t know what to do, there’s no proof of it because it was a few years ago now and even if there was I don’t think I’d go back and look which makes me feel like I’m a terrible person. What if I did something awful? Can someone give me some advice? I’ve been doing really well the past few days but then this came up and knocked me off my feet. It feels like there’s a real possibility I did something and I’m so terrified.
