I am always anxious and overthinking in my relationship I’m scared that it’s the Lords way of telling me he isn’t the one. I always hear that when you’re with the right person you’ll have peace about it and know that they’re the one.. but that freaks me out because I’m alwaysss overthinking and anxious 😭 I’m scared that he isn’t the one the Lord has for me
Oh my god i lived the same expérience these past days i kept thinking that all my relatioship struggle was a sign from god to tell me to breakup than i realised two things First it was my ROCD that brought this much problems two , i had no logic reason to breakup he is a good believer and he treats me very well the only thing unhealthy in my relations is my thoughts and my own doubts dont put as a reference what ppl say or what movie says especially for us with ocd feeling peace and safety is not a referencd for a good relatioship just asl urself why u are with this person whyp would god tell u to break up ? And ask god for help dont make my mistake and wait for some signs in social networks and stuff that will put u in another ocd subtype but i am sure u ll figure this out ❤️
Baby waiting for a sign from God doesn’t mean that God is going to hand you one, especially if God knows it would only fuel your OCD. God is a good and loving Father and instead of waiting for a sign from Him about a relationship, talk to God and put your worries and in His hands and let Him do what he will with it! His ways are always good! Please know that God is not going to give you a sign that makes you afraid. But OCD will make you feel like God would give you a sign that scares you. That is what OCD is all about, fear, doubt and wanting relief. If God worked like how OCD works then sure, your fears are valid. But darling God is bigger than your fears and bigger than our OCD. Please know that is the truth! You got this sweetheart!!! Big hugs my love!!!

This past week has been very challenging; I have been seeing this guy now for a couple of months, and every now and then I will experience a loss of interest in him. Sometimes this is brought upon by the OCD itself, which makes me not want to be around him because he is the trigger. Other times, it’s hard to tell if I’m genuinely not interested, and this drives me absolutely crazy. I feel like I am leading him on and forcing myself to like him just because I want to be in a relationship. To make things clear, he is the sweetest guy and hasn’t done anything wrong; he knows that I struggle with R-OCD and has been very understanding, but isn’t aware of my periods of disinterest and doesn’t know just how distressed I get. This morning, he texted me and said he can’t wait to see me. While reading his text, I never got excited or felt butterflies, I just felt sick to my stomach because all I can think about is how I’m gonna have to tell him I’m not into him right now. I feel like at this point with the back and forth feelings, I just need to end things. The more I think about it, the more I start to believe and feel that’s the right answer. I get sad because I am starting to catch feelings and don’t want to put a stop to a potentially good relationship. I’m really trying to understand why my feelings for him are constantly up and down.

i don’t know what to do anymore. i love my boyfriend but i also feel so guilty because i critcism him in my mind and im really controlling and i know that and im pretty sure if i really loved him i wouldn’t be thinking the things i do about him sometimes i wish he was smarter or did certain things and i hate it is it bad that i think that? part of me thinks i should just give up and find someone perfect and wait for the real one but i also love him and he’s my best friend and i don’t want to lose him but at the same time i want to break up with him because sometimes certain things don’t feel right and just the fact that i have cirticisms about him makes me feel terrible and he’s so so perfect and sweet and i think he deserves someone better and i really don’t know what to do please help i wanted it to be him i did and it just feels like something’s going to happen to us like i’m going to break up with him but at the same time i don’t want to but i don’t want to feel like this forever i wish i didn’t judge him because he’s perfect and i planned my future with him but i also can’t stand having all these thoughts and it’s not right to him either and i love him but i don’t even know what to do anymore i want to be with him forever but i want this to go away and i wish he was different but i also know i can’t make anyone change and it’s bad that i don’t love him just the way he is? shouldn’t he deserve someone who loves him just the way he is i just feel so awful and sick this is going to break my heart it feels like i should break up but at the same time i start crying as soon as i think about losing him please help im paralyzed and sick and losing my mind
