This morning my baby sister came and laid with me and the whole time I felt a tingly sensarion in my groin. I dont understand why and my grounals havent been happening as much recently. What if that means I wanted to do something?
I just did a testing today to see if I liked it. I didn’t like it nor did I desire it but I got physical sensation followed by anxiety.
Im just worried bc i get these thoughts that sexualize everything. And these groinals that feel like they have to mean something.
@ran_0fff Sometimes I get upset about the fact that I’m not avoiding as much. That makes me think it’s not ocd. Like when I’m not avoiding areas it makes me think maybe I don’t care. I’m also dealing with the sexualization of everything.
@JustaguywithOCD420 yes same. thats exactly how I feel. Like im putting myself in situations purposefully.
@ran_0fff For me I get anxiety from the physical sensations of ocd not the intrusive thoughts is that common?
@JustaguywithOCD420 yes I've seen people talking about that. I think for me its both combined.
@ran_0fff They don't necessarily mean anything if you get anxious feelings or feelings of dread alongside them. TW: Rape mention. But for example, many people who have been sexually assaulted have had their bodies respond even though they didn't enjoy it and were actively trying to get away. Does that mean they secretly liked it? No! Thinking about this and my past to figure out why I was feeling this was actually helped me get over my POCD for good
