Friendship is over

So for a English college course, my friend gave me the answer and because I was a dumbass and lazy person I copied it word for word, and of course it had turntit or whatever it’s called, and the professor messaged both me and my friend saying we both have to re do it, she confronted me about it and yes I did tell her the truth and told her to never trust me with giving me out the answers again, I won’t go to class tomorrow because I have horrible cramps but that was before everything, but I will properly apologize to her in person with a hand written note, I know my friend will probably not talk to me anymore because she had arguments with her other guy friend over being replaced in marvel rivals so I’m gonna say goodbye to that friendship especially because she was my only friend. I feel super guilty and I admit it is my fault and feel bad that we both have to re do it, I’m not sure how else to apologize. But I really hope her other guy friend doesn’t say anything because when they fight I really never say anything because it’s not my argument oh gosh what do I do, I also know she will probably be hella pissed at me and not speak to me, she’s probably telling her other friends about me because she would tell me about her telling her other friends, I mean I don’t have any other real friends to be talking about what I should do. I need help, someone curse me off idk what do I do how do I make it up or do I call the friend ship quits?

Hiii, I'm sort of in the dumps with friendship as well ("thanks" to OCD + stuff) so you're not alone- I read what you said and overall if I was your friend, I do understand why she'd feel upset with the assignment part.. especially since it has to be re-done & got in trouble < /3 But I don't understand why she'd talk bad about you to her other friends ??? Is there anything else in the friendship that has happened that made you feel the way to call it quits ??? Also despite your mistake, that doesn't mean you're a bad friend 💜💜💜 it's good that you were honest about the situation

@VVbee Yes I also understand if she ignores me for a day or so, because yeah what I did was a bitchy and careless move, what I’m going to do is apologize in person with a handwritten note, this will NOT atone anything for my actions but I hope it will lighten up something to let her know that what I did was stupid. Well I feel like she will tell other people not talk bad because what I did was true because she has told me what her guy friend would do to her that would make her mad. I haven’t done anything else to her from what I know, this is my first slip up so I feel super guilty because she has helped me with homework before and today helped me the whole period 1hr and 30 mins to prepare on my stats test, I hope I’m over thinking about what she will say or do to me, because to be honest she’s the only friend that I have. Thank you for listening, but may I ask what else do you think I should do to apologize.

@chuu_ In my opinion, if you want to do something more after apologizing you could absolutely do that, but I don't really have any ideas on what else you can do. It was an honest mess up and like I said, you aren't a bad nor careless friend for that. I've done mistakes myself before in the past and have had ups and downs with others- that's natural for everyone I assume <3 please give yourself some grace, and whatever happens between you two is out of my control unfortunately but I hope it goes well..!

Tell her about all this, about how you feel, and what you want out of the friendship, how you will move on. Know that you feel this is wrong, that you want to improve.
