I don’t know what to do
1. Should I quit my job as a teacher and report myself somewhere. 2. Try to handle this as an OCD. I really don’t know.

You need to try to handle your ocd. It’s very difficult but you can do this!!
You are so sweet to encouraging me. But you don’t know the situation… :(
@moi123 You’re right, I don’t know the situation, but I know ocd very personally unfortunately 🤣😭. And I know when ocd is involved everything feels impossible but there is always a logical solution. You shouldn’t quit what you love and let ocd rule over you. ❤️
Oh my friend, I wish I could give you a hug. Being a teacher and having pocd is so hard. Trust me though, quitting the job won’t get rid of the ocd, it might actually make it worse. You have to do what you can to fight back, to stand up for yourself against the ocd.
Thank you. <3 but i really don’t know if it’s pocd.
@moi123 That is what ocd does though. It makes you question if it is ocd. Are you struggling with real event/false memory? I’ve dealt with these themes
@Just trying to survive - Yep, I have one real event which one hunts me. It’s so bad. It also gets me false memories.
You need to handle your OCD.
But what if it’s not OCD? :( I wan’t to do the right thing.
I would like to share my real event cause I haven’t seen any posts like that and I think it will change your mind. I can take it. :(
@moi123 Ok sure, you can share anything you want to
@Just trying to survive - Thank you for listening me. I was with one pre-teen student and had bad anxiety about previous situation. I got that thought ”think something even worse so you can forget your previous anxiety”. So I focused the features that I liked about that boy and thought ”with that boy I could do something”. I didn’t even get anxious in that moment. It didn’t bother me at first but like half year later I was like oh my god what was I thinking. I’m sorry English is not my first language.
@moi123 Ok so you had a taboo thought, these are common. I have taboo thoughts all day everyday. We can’t control the thoughts we have, unfortunately there’s nothing to do about them, we just have to learn to not be upset by them which can be hard at first. Your real event is not at all shocking to me, it does not make you a bad person, it sounds exactly like pocd. I promise you that a therapist can help you overcome the ocd.
@Just trying to survive - This means everything to me. Almost cried.
@moi123 I promise you’re going to be ok. You’ve survived 100% of your worst days so far. Consider talking to a therapist if you can, it doesn’t fix everything right away but it’s a huge help
