does anyone else feel like they’re going to pass out? i’ll just be going on about my day then i just suddenly feel like im gonna pass out, ive never passed out before , i can be laying in bed and i get super dizzy. being in a store or a crowded place is when it’s the worst.
also adding onto this just random.. i have been scared to do my makeup bc i think i will die if i do so. i did my makeup today!! it felt amazing to finally get myself up & do something for myself!
I have POTS and feel the same. It gets exacerbated by anxiety: symptoms are always there, more or less, it's just that when I'm more stressed I pay more attention to them (and to be fair, my body's also weaker and reacts more strongly to lack of proper sleep or food). You're going through something that's very very upsetting, but it's not life threatening. Take a few days off if you can: relax by doing things you enjoy, talk to people. You might feel better afterwards
yesss! this is one of my biggest fears actually. i would hate being in the auditorium at school because i felt trapped and think i would pass out. or going to the movie theater and just passing out.

Hey! Anxiety can cause that. And the fear of it can be a trigger itself. It's like the trigger is fear itself. And stores and all is normal, I have that too. You have to remember to bring yourself back to your body, do some gentle tapping, try some pressure point just to bring yourself back home to your body. And practice slow exhales. All this should calm you down enough and bring you out of that feeling.
My doctor suggested that I do the very things that are bugging me as exposures. But don't do it if you are already in the thick of it. It's okay to rest and find some stillness. Once you are ready, try them as exposures.

Do y’all ever forget basic needs sometimes? I have been going through a phase where I don’t drink water all day until night time and I drink so much that I hold my pee throughout the night until morning. I notice sometimes I even hold my breathe and get light headed or a headache and think something is medically wrong with me 😭or is this my ocd?
I have the thought of what if I lose control and do something out of my control like scream for no reason or yelling in a store or just blurting stuff out that’s not in my control and it causes so much anxiety and causes me to feel weird. I always think I’m on the edge of losing control of myself and it’s exhausting living like this. Any tips?
does anyone else get really vivid intrusive thoughts of the person who you are talking to (or close to physically) just randomly striking you violently? i keep getting them when i’m just talking to my dad one on one in the car & i get a flash of intrusive thoughts of him grabbing my hair & shoving my face in the dashboard. it gets me so anxious :’)
