Diagnosed with Pure O, Bi Polar, anxiety and Major depression. I've tried so much medication that I don't know what's left. I thought Capylta was helping and felt good, but after 3 months I crashed. Anyone have any suggestions?? Don't think my Psychiatrist even knows
I don't take pills and aren't a fan of it. Don't think evetyhing can be solved by pills only. Relaxation helps me , a nice cup of tea. Perhaps drawing its proven to relax our brain and nature is what calms me down too. Suggest also candles. I won't tell you the crap that many tell you about to go and do sports etc. It's hard for people with depression , ik myself. But little steps make big changes.
I agree don't think anything can be solved by pills only, but it did seem to help me get up and out of bed unless it was just in my head. I was up early, made my bed, ready for the day and felt good. Now I can hardly get out of bed. Not sure what happened. I'm just losing the will I had. I'll have to see if I can find other ways to relax. I do love candles, but since I've been like this I haven't lit them, watched TV or have read. I'm just frozen.
@Speckles I understand I do have up and downs too , is your health fine ? When we lack vitamins it also can cause depressing symptoms. You shall try to check it if didn't in long term.
@TheThinker I'm not sure if my health is fine. I keep forgetting to take vit. B and D. I had pains last year in my heart, but think it was stress. EKG was fine tho. Was suppose to go to cardiologist, but can't do it mentally now.
@Speckles I understand that anything you do is exhausting, I do feel the same. It was hard for me to go take a visit by the doctor but you should it. Starting is harder but suggest you to check it asap.

Hi. First I want to say how much strength you show in taking this journey. I know itās difficult. Keep going you got this. In reference to meditation have you considered genetic testing? There is testing now that can determine which medication is best for your body. Lastly some medicine donāt work until 4 months sometimes 6. Give yourself grace.
Hi everyone. I am currently on Luvox after being on Prozac (20-40mg) for the last 5 years. Prozac was no longer working for me so my doctor/therapist and I decided to switch SSRIs. With help from my primary care doctor, I tapered off of Prozac while tapering on to Luvox over the course of a few weeks. I am now off of Prozac and on 150mg of Luvox. I had a couple good weeks where there were more good days than bad, but recently I have felt more depressed, anxious, and in my head on 150mg of Luvox. The anxiety/Harm/Suicidal/Relationship/Pure OCD has been ramping up and it makes me feel a bit hopeless that I wonāt get better. The mornings are hard when you feel like itās just another day suffering through the ups and downs. If anyone can share their ideal Luvox dosage/medicine combo where they finally felt consistent relief from intrusive thoughts and rumination, I would be so appreciative. I know switching medicine and doing ERP is a long process, and Iāve only been in the thick of it for 5 weeks (6/29-8/2), but as Iām sure you can all understand, itās hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel with this disorder. Any positivity, encouragement, advice, coping mechanisms/tools and success stories are appreciated!
Hi all, Iāve never posted on here before. I got diagnosed with OCD about a year ago. My therapist is incredible and I did start taking some SRIās which also made my symptoms really go down. However the last week itās like Iām back to my old symptoms of insane anxiety and not being able to sleep. I want to see if anyone has also experienced this and basically want to know if it gets better again. Iām terrified of having to change my dose for my SRIās it doesnāt sit right with me. Thanks ā£ļø
Please tell me how you get through your days. I haven't been super down, but I feel like I haven't had a true sense of happiness since my mental switch flipped. Actually, the more I think of it the more I feel like I have been pretty down. Does anyone else's OCD feel like it consumes so much of them? I don't remember what it's like to feel like I have my own individual identity, and I think that's a big core aspect of why my ROCD acts up. It gets easier some days, harder some others, and I tell myself progress isn't linear but this is EXHAUSTING. I just got my script for Bupropion extended even though I don't know if its doing much a month into it. I have so many anxieties and such little energy it feels impossible to branch out more than I already am by seeking help. Does anyone relate?
