So so scared

I’m absolutely terrified that I will end up with a woman. I honestly find stories about women who randomly fell in love with another woman later in life so terrifying. Like how does this even happen?? I had so much certainty and a clear idea of what my life will be before this ocd theme started. But now because I read so many stories I feel like I will never get them out of my head. It’s almost like all the research poisoned my brain. Ignorance was such bliss honestly…

Yes I completely relate! I never ever want to be with a woman but my brain is convincing me I do. I am constantly terrified that I will become one of those people in the stories who “realized they were gay later in life”.

It’s the absolute worst I’m in a great relationship with my boyfriend and it’s like it just wants to ruin what good I have or it pops up if we have any sort of difficulties it’s tormenting

@KitKat It’s honestly the worst theme! And I feel like it’s so easy to get triggered because the discussions about sexual orientation are everywhere and it almost forces you to start questioning yourself…

the way that if that ever happened to me id avoid relationships. my insta feed and fyp is full of women who were married to men or identified as straight who came out later in life. its honestly triggering asf😭

@simplyexhausted Same! My fyp is filled with those stories too and I get so triggered too, especially when they say smth along the lines of how they felt happy with their husband before realising they were gay. How does that happen??

Its so scary

I have no idea if this is just OCD and I’m actually just straight or i was in denial my whole life. Now it feels so scary, i feel like im realizing my true self, that ive always been gay, that im just using SO-OCD as a cover up. IT FEELS SO REAL. I even feel like others with SO-OCD dont experience this feeling and i must experience something different. Its literally a feeling like an urge to admit myself that I’m gay and it even feels like i know im gay and i was using OCD as a cover up for 6 years. I cant even describe that feeling. When i try to imagine myself with a girl in my mind it makes me feel like i like that thought like i want it😔 It feels all very very real. I think you guys with SOOCD have different feelings and you actually have OCD. I dont want these thoughts. I dont want to be gay, i dont want to feel this. But maybe i was my whole life in denial. 😭😭

SOOCD is ruining my life I need advice

my brain keeps on trying to convince me I’m gay. Why do I care so much?? I’ve been sure of who I am for all my life, but ever since that thought that I could be something else appeared in my head. It’s ruined me completely, I’ve lost attraction to my preferred gender and overthink everything when talking to the same gender. I know pick about everything I’m feeling and ruminate on the past for evidence. I’ve always saw myself being with a man and having kids with a man. But now I guess my ocd (maybe it’s just denial idk) Is telling me I never wanted that and it was society or whatever. It makes me extremely uncomfy and very anxious. When I think about being gay that doesn’t feel right neither does being straight anymore since this theme. I just want to be normal again I hate this. I feel like I’ll never be in a relationship again ever because of this.

SO OCD

I’ve been suffering with SO OCD for a while now and the thought of late in life lesbians really scary me like what if this is all real and that’s going to happen to me. My boyfriend and I are about to hit 2 years and I’m scared for the future. :(
