    I need some help

Is there anyone on here that got there attraction back after they were convinced they were gay. I really need some help. I feel completely gay after a year of having this disorder at first it was doubt now it feels so real to the point I just accept it and feel like I know I’m gay after being straight my whole life. If there is anybody that was in my position and is now recovered please help me out

Yeah mate, I had it for around a year until I stopped letting it run my life and stopped avoiding all my triggers, problem is you’re looking for complete reassurance to get rid of the ocd, you’re never gonna feel that reassurance you’re looking for that will get rid of it, it will come naturally once you stop looking for certainty and it will just be automatic like before, that’s really the key to most ocd but easier said than done, just remember if you were actually gay you wouldn’t even be stressing like this

@Anonymous I’m not stressing nor am I looking for reassurance I just want to know if this is ocd or not because if it isn’t then fine I really don’t care if I’m gay I really don’t I just want to know if there is still hope or do I just give up and forget about the last 19 years of my life before hocd

@Anonymous It might seem like I’m stressing because I’m on here and everyone here really is stressing but I haven’t stressed about this since last July I’m just confused how the emotional and attractions flipped from only to girls to now only to guys

Going through the same thing, my mind now says I’m lesbian or bisexual and it morphs.

I remember changing my mindset to switch that. 98%of my life has been straight until recently. I felt drawn to some guys but never thought of it sexu...

    feeling helpless

As a lesbian with SO-OCD, I feel so helpless. It's truly exhausting because no one I know understands what I'm going through. The first response is always, "You're just confused" or "You don't have to know yet." But that's not the issue, I do know. I just never see any lesbians with SO-OCD so I feel so invalidated. ...
