Hello everyone my name is Jessica and I am new to “ NOCD” I struggle with pure O and bad health ocd and Aniexty. Today is really hard. I left work today with really bad upper stomach pain which I know is indigestion but my brain is convincing me it’s something else. I am so scared for the feeling to come back and I am researching a lot. It’s a hard day today.
Hi I’m new here too and it’s suspected that I have health OCD, but it’s hard because I do have chronic health issues. I don’t know a ton but i do know it helps me to put down my phone and distract myself away from it. The research is hard to put down but ultimately it just makes me feel a lot worse and more anxious.

Hi!! Have you tried giving your ocd a name? I did and whenever that happened (because stomach issues due to ocd anxiety is my top issue) I just say “I’m fine, I’m not going to die and this is going away by itself or I’ll take something, but I’m fine” I basically call it out every time it messes with my head and for me has been successful, you don’t lose anything trying!
