I want to thank all of you for being brave enough to share your stories. The thoughts and urges you have are just as wild as mine. It makes me feel less alone in this OCD battle. I truly appreciate all of you.
You are so welcome. OCD is often misunderstood and improperly treated, but NOCD does it right. There are many people who suffer from OCD who are ashamed to get treatment and /or tell family. NOCD understands us and knows how to effectively treat OCD even the taboo subtypes. I am so glad that we are supporting you through your recovery. If you feel comfortable sharing, what therapy techniques or meds you the most if you feel really comfortable.

When I started meds for my intrusive thoughts last year it was a game changer.

I just want to say how glad I am that there is a website for what we go through on a daily basis with our problems, and I want to say thank you for making this possible
Same here. It’s been much more manageable to live with OCD since being here with NOCD. Even as I get better I still have many flare-ups and it reminds me to keep doing the hard work.
Sharing is very hard. My wife knows but I can't go into details with her. My worst part is constant intrusive thoughts that try to control my life. Some of them are triggered by people that have wronged me in the past. Trust is very hard for me.
I totally agree with this post! Some of my more distressing or taboo content has been too difficult for me to share, but it is always so comforting when other people are brave enough to talk about it. We love you 💚🍀✨!
