Hello, I've been really struggling with my relationship with God since I believe He is coming soon. I've made alot of mistakes I've turned from but I don't think I've sought or advocated enough for hurt I've caused I don't know if God will help me or has His back turned from me. I don't know where I stand with Him and I pray He restores those I hurt truly
Hey… I feel you. Like for real, I feel you. It’s a scary, confusing, lonely place to be — sitting in your thoughts, feeling like you’ve messed up too much, like God might be done with you, or turned His back. And that fear of “what if He’s coming back soon and I’m not good enough” — oh yeah, I’ve sat with that too. But here’s what I know deep in my soul, and I need you to hear this loud and clear: God is not done with you. He hasn’t turned His back on you. He never did. You’re not too far gone. You’re not unforgivable. You’re not disqualified because of your past — in fact, the fact that your heart hurts over it, the fact that you want to be right with Him, says everything. That’s not someone who’s lost. That’s someone who’s seeking. That’s someone who’s already closer to Him than they think. The enemy wants you to sit in shame. To spiral. To feel stuck in the “I should’ve…” and “I didn’t do enough…” But God? He wants your heart — even your messy, scared, ashamed, overthinking, hurting heart. He wants you. You’ve turned from your mistakes. You’ve prayed for those you hurt. That means something. That shows growth. That shows love. Could you have done more? Maybe. We all could’ve. But God’s not asking you to be perfect — He’s asking you to come to Him as you are. And you are. He’s not sitting there angry, waiting to punish you. He’s the Father standing with open arms, ready for His child to just walk into His love again. And you’re allowed to still be healing. You’re allowed to still be figuring it out. You don’t have to “feel” perfectly forgiven for it to be real. So here’s the truth, friend: He hears you. He sees your guilt. And He knows your heart wants to make it right. And guess what? His grace covers even that. The stuff you didn’t get to fix. The people you didn’t know how to help. The tears you didn’t cry until later. Just keep showing up to Him. Talk to Him even when it feels awkward or heavy. Cry to Him even if you don’t know what to say. That’s what He wants. Not perfection. Not performance. Just presence. And I’m praying with you — not just that God brings healing to those you’ve hurt, but that He brings peace back to you. Because you’re His too. And He hasn’t forgotten you.

God always has our back. It’s the OCD lying to you Jesus died for our sins so we can repent and be free and saved that’s that. You are truly forgiving of you’re sins as long as you repent dont dwell on it or try not to I struggle with religious OCD it tells me the same thing but Ik it’s a lie. Have a blessed day
I'm in agreement with the other comments but just remember, you cannot do anything to earn salvation. Jesus did it all! Just focus on Him and turn away from thinking of what you can do and think of what He already did!🫶
Yes but also I read somewhere in Bible if I don't so will of God then I was never His child I think He wants me to apologize to someone but I'm scared
@Anonymous - David, Moses, and many other people in the Bible did things out of God's will and do you think they weren't His? God called Moses His friend, even though Moses disobeyed God. However, if you feel like God is calling you to do something then you should listen because He is doing it for a good reason. Do not be scared but trust that nothing is going to seperate you from God's love.
@Anonymous He wants you to apologize to yourself for letting those crucial thoughts hurt his child—which is you! Because when you tear yourself down, you’re dishonoring someone He fearfully and wonderfully made. The Bible says in Psalm 139:14.. “i praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” You are His creation — not a mistake, not too much, not unworthy. Every time you doubt yourself, every time you let shame speak louder than grace, you’re believing a lie about a soul God calls beloved. He wants you to stand up in that mirror, look yourself in the eyes, and say: “I’m sorry for letting broken thoughts bruise something God has called whole.” Because God doesn’t ask you to be perfect — He asks you to come back to love. And that love starts with how you speak to yourself
@jasistrying I know I should listen if it's Him the issue is it's a very complex situation not that I don't trust Him with it but like the last time I apologized it was hastey and the person didn't get justice in fact they didn't even get therapy or anything like that so I don't think I did it right at all so this time around I'm scared because it's just alot and complex I'm praying His will be done another way because I don't know if it's my ocd or not
God would never have his back turned towards you love, he is always waiting with open arms, no need to pray, just close your eyes and express your feelings towards him. Hes always listening.
I'm Christian and I struggle with being close to god a lot but lately I just feel like I will never near a full relationship with god because of this not only that my heart physically hurts because I think about how I want god to allow me to get married and have kids but I don't think that's his will for me I feel like it will never happen and my heart hurts thinking about it and even if god does allow that blessing to come my way l'm afraid I'm going to end up hurting my husband or committing adultery and I'm afraid how he would react to my past and old relationship and ocd I don't think it will ever go away not because I don't think god is powerful enough I know he is I just think he wants that to be my story for the glory of his name and because it keeps me close to him idk I just my heart hurts thinking about not being married and not having kids but l'm trying to accept that in case that isn't his will for me it just really hurts my heart physically im thinking of starting therapy but im scared it wont do anything or God will get upset with me that I couldn’t do it with just him i got put back on pills and im gonna end up going back to therapy i get afraid of death and other things now idk I just don’t wanna upset god
So, alot has changed. I'm Christian and currently believe we are in the end of times. It's changed my whole perspective on life. I quit my job and moved back in with family, starting to go to church, apologized to those I hurt except, one person who I talked to two family members and they told me to delete the message and with my other apology ( that i also believed was God telling me to confess in 2020) i lied at some parts because of shame and confusing myself most likely intentionally. I confessed everything to my dad and he says since i turned from it, repented, that i need to let it go and continue forward. Since then, my minds been saying that I'm outside of God's will and everything's gone down hill. I had also prayed that God exposed me and now it's like all this evil and wickedness that feels like it's coming out of my heart settles into my chest. I've prayed to God, worshipped to God, but thoughts and images of being sent to hell or my loved ones pops into my head and I've gone to sleep twice each night accepting the fact that because of me not doing so may have doomed me and my loved ones and I feel scared that I got so tired and stopped fighting it. I've had ocd since I was 7 but it just is so scary because it's hitting down to the wire and I'm scared that I was never a child of God at all I mean I have iniquity I thought I repented for but people I love still struggle with what I've done and I prayed for them and tried to help them and suggest therapy but I haven't did what I could to make it right like I should've. But these images and thoughts they're horrible. I feel like I'm against God truly and I'm like Lord change the circumstances and I won't resist so that I can preach Your word and everyday I feel like I'm gambling. It's like every thought is biblical for the most part. I don't want to kill myself cuz what if I have a chance that God will have mercy on me but....
I put a trigger warning because I will be discussing themes of end of times. I feel like I'm not following God's will. God knows ultimately that things were going to speed up end of times wise. A few months ago, I had a random thought to call someone I had affected with past sin and apologize to him although I did not know he was there, my sin affected him. I know he deserves an apology, but I chalked it up to ocd and treated it as such for months fast forward to now I feel like I'm completely against God. Horrifying. It's a complex situation I caused and therefore though I know he deserves an apology I'm really scared as I created a mess of things. I've been praying that God help certain things come to fruition so I could be exposed and help minister to others if that's what He's calling me to do but no answer. Instead horrible images and thoughts and feelings of doom. I see signs to apologize everywhere. I'm at my wits end. Because I tend to get ahead of myself I asked two family members and they said don't and then I see things that say Though people in your life mean well, don't go based on what they say only what God says. I tell God to do His will and I'll follow, do you think He'll listen. I even told Him I straight up don't want to do it, not because He doesn't deserve one, but because last time I apologized to someone else I didn't do it right and it was messy. I feel so evil, like a wolf in sheep's clothing. I also remember looking up morbid things for what???? Only to be disturbed pray about it and leave by why search it up again? I also fantasized alot about guys I've been single forever, late 20s now, I'm trying to go to church and my crush is there and I try to stop thinking about him because I know it's delusional but the thoughts don't leave. I'm so tired I want to stop but stop what? Living? I want to stick to God as close as possible. I'm going crazy.
