Hydroxyzine for anxiety?
Does anyone have experience with Hydroxyzine for short term anxiety? My doctor just prescribed it but I’m curious to see if others have tried it.

It's helped me with the physical symptoms of anxiety. For a couple days it made me kinda sleepy until I got used to taking it as needed. It's also an antihistamine which I didn't realize until I noticed I was sneezing and felt more congested during pollen season on the days I wasn't taking it.
I tried it. Didn't work for me.
I was prescribed this to help me sleep. I have a difficult time falling asleep due to my anxiety, and it’s helped. My doctor prescribed me Gabapentin as needed for anxiety symptoms and it’s really helped.
Hello everyone I was recently diagnosed with OCD. I’ve spent the last ten years battle extreme anxiety and obsessive thoughts. I recently started taking Prozac. For once in my life my mind feels calm. However, they just upped my dose and my anxiety is bad and I’m having trouble sleeping this is week 2 on the medication. Anyone else experienced this?
I’m one week into taking a new course of fluvoxamine. Has anyone else taken this? When did you see any results and at what dose? I’ve been told it’s the best medication for treating OCD. Curious to hear about other peoples experiences
I've recently began taking Bupropion as I've been diagnosed with GAD/MDD. That being said, I've had anxiety related symptoms enough to make me believe I may need to be evaluated for OCD. Does anyone here have experience with this med? I'd prefer honesty, although my anxiety is already high so I could do without horror stories unless you feel the details are necessary. I'm mainly concerned that Bupropion will exacerbate my anxiety, and since GAD/OCD exist on a spectrum of sorts according to my therapist, whether I have it or not I am very concerned that I will further lose control over rumination and self-monitoring, I've been doing it since I woke up this morning and resulted in a crying fit.
