Has anyone experienced weight gain while on lexapro? I was on it for many years with no weight changes, but recently gained weight without changing my diet or exercise and I’m wondering if lexapro could be contributing. Thanks!
Oh I gained weight. At the time I was only 100 then a couple of months later after being on it I was 150 pounds. Sadly, I’m not it anymore because it kept causing me brain zaps If that makes any sense and it wasn’t working for me anymore. I hope all is well for you. 🩷

@thanu234 Honestly feels like my brain is getting electrocuted for a nanosecond. Like a quick buzz in my head. Its pretty rare and totally benign
Oh yeah! Gained 50 lbs since I started last year. Not much change in diet or exercise so itprobably has something to do with the meds BUT I do also concede that I probably did not have to gain as much if I actually started exercising 🙂 I’m ok with it though

Has anyone had saris make there OCD worse then before they started them. I've always noticed a mental increase when taking ssri or ssnri. But that's the medicine for OCD and anxiety since most doctors dont like benzo and for good reason but still.
Hi all, I’ve never posted on here before. I got diagnosed with OCD about a year ago. My therapist is incredible and I did start taking some SRI’s which also made my symptoms really go down. However the last week it’s like I’m back to my old symptoms of insane anxiety and not being able to sleep. I want to see if anyone has also experienced this and basically want to know if it gets better again. I’m terrified of having to change my dose for my SRI’s it doesn’t sit right with me. Thanks ❣️
Hello everyone I was recently diagnosed with OCD. I’ve spent the last ten years battle extreme anxiety and obsessive thoughts. I recently started taking Prozac. For once in my life my mind feels calm. However, they just upped my dose and my anxiety is bad and I’m having trouble sleeping this is week 2 on the medication. Anyone else experienced this?
