Ive seen this being recommended and been recommended for this app before a couple of times. But im really anxious about it because what if they sell my data? or someone hacks me data and finds me irl? then they know my issues? yk stupid stuff like that- has anyone else used it? is it good? how does it work? You can try it free. It's $6 a month I will say it didn't ask me for any personal information and it's a protected app and approved by the play store. I tried it once and it helped me through a very bad intrusive thought I've been dealing with for years. You can also save your session and look back on it again if that particular issue comes up again.
I think for how helpful it is, you can’t think about it like that. It’s for ocd if anyone hacked that information that’s so invasive that doesn’t reflect on you. I find the app really helpful especially in the moment when I am alone or just want to get out of the cycle

I have constantly been feeling like if I hit one arm, I have to hit the other and if I set something down and it just didn’t look right or feel right I had to do it again or I had to move it to a different spot in my room I’ve had never been a clean freak, which is mainly what I get told is OCD And I don’t know if I should even have this app. I don’t know if I actually have it. I’m constantly worried that I did something in my past that harmed others and that’s why people don’t like me or I’m constantly worried People are constantly watching me and I don’t know if that’s OCD or if I have it so please tell me I will delete this app and never think of it again if I don’t I just really wanna know
I feel really scared and worried that the therapist I find on NOCD might not be effective, and instead of getting better, I might end up feeling worse. I’m afraid that if I don’t feel any progress, I’ll want to switch therapists, but my mom might get impatient with me. I worry that she’ll lose faith in therapy, stop paying for it, and think it’s a waste of time and money. I know therapy takes time and it’s not a quick fix, but I’m scared that things won’t go the way I hope. What if I don’t connect with the therapist? What if they don’t understand my OCD as well as I need them to? I’ve already been struggling so much, and the thought of going through another disappointment is exhausting. I’m only 14, and I feel stuck because I can’t manage this on my own. I need help, but I also need my mom to stay patient and supportive through this process. I’m scared that if things don’t improve fast enough, she’ll give up on paying for therapy. I don’t know what to do, and it’s making me feel really anxious. I just want to get better, but what if nothing works out?
New to this app. Do members find it helps, I'm worried I will start obsessing over things I hadn't thought about before when I read other people's OCD triggers...
